Kids Thanksgiving Table-Repost

I have received so many comments about this because it made Tip Junkie last year

 (I'm so grateful) that I'm reposting. 

 This was one of the first set of printables I ever made ;) 

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so glad that it is November. I am not a huge Halloween person. I like the actual night but not a big fan of the decor (not that into the colors.) 

So we are moving on to my favorite holiday THANKSGIVING!

The idea for this table was for the kids to have fun, entertain themselves
while making it cute and festive at the same time.

I used rolled paper as a the table cloth.

 You can get at any art and craft store.  

 I got mine at Pottery Barn Kids. 

Markers, beads, string and glue were all placed on the table so they could create before or after eating.

These cones are easy to make.  You can fill them with anything.  

Cut them out from the template and glue the side without "Happy Thanksgiving" on it and attach to back of "Happy Thanksgiving" side. All done ;)

I love the holidays. I especially love Thanksgiving because it is all about being with your family and friends without the gift buying pressure. This is a sneak peak of my Thanksgiving Table.

Neon Pumpkins.

I love spray paint. It is great for instant projects. I have had these molded pumpkins for a couple of years and I loved their shape but they are really boring so to follow through with my neon obsession I decided to spray paint them.  It  livened them up.  I am going to use them for a centerpiece for a fall dinner party I am going to have.

You need.
Spray paint and painters tape.

How you do it.
I sprayed them both solid gold and then sectioned off the areas I wanted to accent with the painters tape and sprayed those areas.

You can create any design that you would like.
I did vertical and horizontal stripes.

Chevron would be cute too!

Sweet Potato Pie.

I love Pumpkin Pie but do you know what is even better "Sweet Potato Pie."  Growing up in the south we eat lots of sweet potatoes made all kinds of different ways for the holidays.
This is a recipe from my Grandmother.

17.  Kids Thanksgiving Table Setting – I just adore all of these FREE Thanksgiving printable crafts made for the kids table.
18.  Turkey Sucker Holders - Cut the turkeys and then added the suckers to them. I took an exacto knife and cut a small slit to push the suckers through.
19.  Coloring Turkey Table - Cover the children’s dining surface with paper and set out pots of crayons for tic-tac-toe.
20.  Last Minute Kids’ Thanksgiving Placemat Tutorial – I used felt to make it a quick last-minute project to decorate my kids’ Thanksgiving table. This project can be done on the machine or by hand. I stitched it up by hand.

Adult Thanksgiving Table Decor

Everything on this table I had.

I love that, don't you?  So does the hubby {*wink *wink}

I used moss, crystals, candles, twine, plants from my yard, crosses, decorative balls and more.

I wanted the table to have a "cornucopia" of color but also have a natural outdoorsy feeling.  I wrapped the silverware in napkins and tied them with twine.  I hung branches from the ceiling.  Lily and I made glitter pumpkins for the place settings.
