11 Days and counting.
WOW! When I saw this I was so excited! I love Missoni! I have a couple of their pieces in my wardrobe and they are so beautiful. Missoni's unique designs always stand apart from other designers. And I love that they are a family run company.
Well guess what? You can now have Missoni in your life too...all from the fabulous Target.
Here's a little peak. Target releases it September 13th. I have my calendar marked because it will sell out fast and it's only in store until for a couple of weeks.

Rachel Zoe 7 Days 7 Looks at Saks.com
Tuesday, August 30, 2011
I love Rachel Zoe's sense of style. She is a little over the top in the personality department but I gotta say she knows fashion and has a fabulous eye for styling. I first learned about RZ when she started styling Jessica Simpson during the "Newlyweds"era. She transformed Nicole Richie's look and stills styles the likes of Demi Moore, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Gardner. This week over at Saks.com she is doing a segment called 7 Days 7 Looks for the debut of her line.

Ice Cream Party
Wednesday, August 17, 2011
I haven't featured a party in a while bc I was getting a little bored with them but I saw this one over at Pen n' Paper Flowers and I thought it was so cute. It is by Lisa Luebe of Creative Ink Productions.
The two things that set it apart for me where Ice Cream Cake Pops and the Cake.
What a lucky girl to have such a beautiful party thrown for her!
See all the details and find out how Lisa got inspired over at Pen n' Paper Flowers.

City Guides: Louis Vuitton
Tuesday, August 16, 2011
Did you know that Louis Vuitton now has its own social network/app called "Amble" that allows you document and explore cities throughout the world. You can even follow your favorite celebrities "Ambles" to find out what their "must do's" are in the city you are exploring. You can add video, photos and more to document your travels. The best part about this is the App is free.
"Amble" pairs perfectly with LV's cool set of city guides. These guides not only look fabulous but have a ton of great resources in them. Wouldn't this be such a great gift for someone who loves to travel. Even if they never opened them, they would still look divine on a bookshelf. Happy Travels!

Easy Summer Cobbler
Monday, August 15, 2011
My mom gave me this recipe when I first moved to California and it has become one of my easy, go to desserts. It is great for all the fresh fruits of the summer.
1 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Stick of Salted Butter
3 Cups of Fruits Your Choice
For my fruit I like to use a mixture of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Peaches are good too.
Melt Butter in Oven until sizzling. Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 cup milk. Pour in pan over melted butter - DON'T STIR! Pour fruit on top and sprinkle with sugar. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Add a sprig of mint for decoration.

Giveaway: Cheese and Olives Please!
Friday, August 12, 2011
My sister threw a Bachelorette Party for a friend in Chicago and before their night out on the town, my Sis had everyone over to her place for wine and appetizers.
She created a cheese and olive spread (bc the Bachelorette LOVES olives).

To add a festive touch to the party I made printable cheese and olive markers.
I'm still asking for the pics of the party {hint hint}.
Hopefully I will get some to share with you.

White: My new favorite balance of color!
Thursday, August 11, 2011
Right now I am into white. I still need my splashes of color but white (especially white walls) seems to make everything so
modern, crisp and clean.
Did you know: White is a balance of color in light. The colors impinge and overlay upon each other in such perfection that a wonderful composite emerges. We call the composite: white.
When you see white, you see all the colors in balance.
Want to see more of my white inspiration?

National Smores Day!
Wednesday, August 10, 2011
Did you know that today is National Smores Day?
I didn't either until I saw a post over at Celebrations at Home.
We are at the beach and have been making a lot of smores lately.
My daughter Lily actually spotted these
Jumbo Marshmellows at Target the other day.
They are so much fun!
They're huge and they make the best smores.
